Black and white photo under a pier with ocean waves.

DANCING CEMENT WATERS

Whether you are racing against tornadoes, sheltering from hurricanes, or seeking refuge from a blizzard, let Florida’s oceans bathe you in a crystal cradle so strong it shields you from the world while suspending you beneath the gods among the sky.

Built in the 1950s, the Deerfield Beach Pier has endured the destruction of Hurricane Donna and survived the wrath of countless other storms.   As your travels call upon you to traverse new lands, take a moment to relish the ordinary hidden in plain sight, where Mother Nature and artistic engineering come together to battle water pressure exceeding 6,000 pounds per square foot against these majestic pillars floating on the ocean blue.

She reminds us how fragile and powerful our harmony with her can be —come pay homage to this magical connection that continually transforms our souls.
